Cody McCarver

Cody McCarver is a singer-songwriter who moved from a long career in country music into Christian and gospel music, describing his current style as "outlaw gospel." Born and raised in Dunlap, Tennessee, he began playing piano in his local church at age nine, setting the foundation for a lifetime in music.

McCarver spent over a decade as a member of the country band Confederate Railroad before launching a solo career in 2009. After leaving the group, he shifted his focus to faith-based music. His releases include the albums Rise Up, The Lord’s Will, Blessings, and Hymn & Me, as well as the singles "God Did That," "These Hands," "Run and Hide," and a collaboration on "The Old Rugged Cross."

His song "Rise Up" reached number one on the Christian Country chart in 2018. He also received an Inspirational Country Music Association (ICMA) award for "God Did That" and was named Independent Artist of the Year by Music Row Magazine.

Beyond music, McCarver hosts a weekly radio show called The Country Revival Countdown and is active in film and television. He has acted in western films, produced a reality show titled Small Town America, and co-founded a recording studio and production company named Studio Dunlap in his hometown. All of these efforts reflect his commitment to blending his musical roots with his Christian ministry.
