Christ For The Nations Worship

Christ For The Nations Worship is the worship ministry of Christ For The Nations, a non-denominational organization based in Dallas, Texas. The ministry was founded in 1948 by Gordon and Freda Lindsay. The Christ For The Nations Institute was established in 1970 as a Bible school designed to train students for ministry.

The music ministry began producing live worship recordings annually in 1974, building a long tradition of corporate worship captured in a live setting. In 1994, CFN Music, the organization’s own music label, was founded by Kevin Jonas. The worship team is made up of songwriters, students, faculty, and alumni of the institute, with the stated goal of leading people into encounters with Jesus Christ through worship.

Over the years, Christ For The Nations Worship has released a number of live recordings, including Overtaken (2005), Desperate Hour (2008), Perfect Love (2009), 37 (2011), Kingdom (2014), Faithful (2015), Melody Of Love (2017), and God Of New Seasons (2021). The institute has also been a training ground for many notable worship artists and songwriters who have gone on to serve in churches and the broader Christian music community.
