About Chris Falson
Chris Falson is an Australian-born songwriter, producer, and recording artist whose work has spanned worship music, television, and film. After serving as a music director at Christian City Church in Sydney, he relocated to Los Angeles in the 1990s, where he signed with Maranatha! Music as a staff songwriter and producer. His songs quickly found a wider audience, with artists such as Ron Kenoly recording his material.
Falson’s worship catalog includes songs like “All Honor,” “I Walk by Faith,” “I See the Lord,” “We Need a King,” and “For The Rest Of My Days.” He has released several solo albums, including A Tree By The Water and Chris Falson, as well as collections such as Live Worship (with The Amazing Stories), Standing On The Rock, and Pure Joy. His writing and production work placed him within a global worship music community while he continued to develop as a studio musician and composer.
Beyond the church, Falson composed for network television and independent films and mentored other songwriters. He is also the father of musician Sam Sparro. Through each phase of his career—from Sydney church music director to Los Angeles–based writer and producer—Chris Falson has remained a steady contributor to contemporary worship music.
