Children of Inheritance

Children of Inheritance is a worship collective and ministry initiative formed by a group of young Christians from across Australia. The group was established following the 2017 Jesus People Gathering, which led to a two-week songwriting and recording retreat in Bendigo, Victoria.

The collective is empowered by Youth for Christ Australia. Its stated mission is to write music that glorifies God and empowers the local church to express their faith creatively. Children of Inheritance emphasizes a desire to be known for their love and for inviting listeners into an encounter with God rather than for their musical gifts alone.

Members of the collective have included Jordan Merry, Isaac Parkinson, Josh Wolsley, and others. The group released their self-titled album Children of Inheritance in 2019. The album features songs including “I See This Nation,” “Bread of Life,” “Who You Are,” and “All Our Days.”
