Charles Weems

Charles Weems is a worship leader and songwriter from Vero Beach, Florida. He was raised in a multigenerational ministry family; his great-grandparents helped start the family church, and his father currently serves as its pastor. Weems has been writing and singing music since he was eight years old, and he describes his songwriting as "prayers in the form of melodies."

His music is characterized by a focus on serving the local church and leading people into intimacy with Jesus. In May 2026, Weems signed with Provident Entertainment. His song "Slow Me Down" has earned more than 34 million streams. His debut single for the label, "I Will Follow," generated more than 600,000 streams worldwide in its first week of release and recorded the second-most pre-saves for a debut single in Provident Entertainment history.

Weems has also released the song "Alive Again" with ELEVATION RHYTHM and "It's Gonna Happen" featuring Janelle Balasquide.
