Carolina Boys Quartet

The Carolina Boys Quartet is a Southern Gospel group based in the Upstate region of South Carolina. The quartet’s stated mission is to share the message of Jesus Christ through Southern Gospel music. The group was originally founded in 2001 by Ray Dean Reese, and it was reformed under its current name in December 2009 following an announcement by Reese.

True to the traditional quartet format, the group typically consists of four vocal parts: tenor, lead, baritone, and bass. Over the years, the Carolina Boys Quartet has built a catalog of recordings that reflect their commitment to gospel ministry. Their album releases include Ready (2003), Free (2010), Truly Blessed (2012), Watch and Pray (2014), Faith In a Great God (2016), and Take a Stand (2019).

The quartet has recorded songs such as “Thank God I Am Free” and “Sweet Beulah Land,” and has been associated with record labels including Skyland Records and Crossroads Music Group. Through their music and live ministry, the Carolina Boys Quartet continues to present traditional Southern Gospel music centered on the Christian faith.
