About Cade Thompson
Cade Thompson is a Contemporary Christian music artist from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He began his musical training as a child, learning piano, guitar, and drums, and served as a youth worship leader at his church starting in the 6th grade. After finishing high school, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue his music career.
Thompson is signed to Red Street Records, an independent Christian label founded by Jay DeMarcus. His catalog includes the singles “Provider,” “Every Step of the Way,” “Arms of Jesus,” “Good God,” and “That’s What The Cross Is For.” He released the album Bigger Story in 2021 and the album Empty Room in 2023. In August 2020, “Every Step of the Way” earned a Top 20 Billboard charting single.
Thompson has toured and shared the stage with artists including TobyMac, Michael W. Smith, and Newsboys. Outside of his music, he served as a Foster Care Awareness Month Ambassador for America’s Kids Belong.
