Brothers of the Heart

Brothers of the Heart is a collaborative quartet in the country, bluegrass, and gospel music world, frequently releasing projects through Gaither Music Group. The group consists of Jimmy Fortune, Bradley Walker, Mike Rogers, and Ben Isaacs—each of whom maintains an individual career while coming together as an ensemble. The name “Brothers of the Heart” was coined by Country and Gospel Music Hall of Famer Don Reid.

The group is often described as a country, bluegrass, and gospel “supergroup.” Their music is known for four-part harmonies and a blend of country, gospel, and pop classics. They have released albums through Gaither Music Group, often accompanied by television specials and DVDs. Their catalog includes the albums Brotherly Love, Listen to the Music, and Will the Circle Be Unbroken.

Among the songs in their recorded repertoire are “My Girl,” “It Is No Secret,” “The Lighthouse,” “More Than a Name on a Wall,” and “Waiting for the Sun to Shine.” Through their work with Gaither Music Group, Brothers of the Heart continues to share a sound rooted in both gospel tradition and the country and bluegrass styles that define each member’s solo work.
