About Britt Nicole
Britt Nicole is the stage name of American Christian pop singer-songwriter Brittany Nicole Waddell. Born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, she began singing at age three at her grandfather’s church. After high school, she turned down a scholarship from Belmont University to pursue a full-time music career.
She signed with Sparrow and Capitol Records during her career. Her early releases include the album Follow the Call (2003) and Say It (2007). She followed with The Lost Get Found in 2009. Her 2012 album Gold reached number one on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. The single “Gold” was also part of that project.
In 2015 she released The Remixes, and her self-titled album Britt Nicole arrived in 2016. She is married to Joshua Crosby and has children. After a hiatus from the music industry, she returned to release music independently, including the album II II V in 2025.
