Brentwood Kids

Brentwood Kids was a children’s music division of Brentwood Music, a Christian music company, that operated from 1990 to 2003. The label produced choral music, hymnals, and songbooks tailored for church settings, with releases often featuring children’s choirs performing medleys of contemporary worship songs and classic hymns. The music was designed for use in Sunday school, children’s church, and family worship.

The division built a catalog of themed collections, including the “Kids Sing Praise” video series, non-seasonal worship choir volumes, and Christmas-focused albums such as “My First Christmas: Away In a Manger.” Other notable releases included “Mother Goose Gospel Vol. I,” “America’s 25 Favorite Praise & Worship Choruses For Kids,” and “Wake Up, You Sleepyhead!” The title “Brentwood Kids Music Worship Choir, Volume 2 Presents… Awesome God” represented the kind of accessible choral arrangements the division offered.

Productions were shaped by various arrangers and producers, including Brian Green and David Ebensberger, who helped bring the music to life. Through its partnership with Brentwood Music, Brentwood Kids provided churches with resources that bridged contemporary worship and traditional hymns for young audiences, serving as a source of musical material for children’s ministries during its years of activity.
