About Blessing Offor

Blessing Offor is a Nigerian-born American singer-songwriter and musician in the contemporary Christian and gospel music genres. Born with congenital glaucoma, he lost his sight completely by age ten. At age six, he moved to the United States with his uncle to receive medical treatment. He later attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and competed on the seventh season of The Voice in 2014.

Signed to Capitol CMG, Offor released the single “Brighter Days” in 2022, which earned RIAA Gold Certification. His debut album, My Tribe, arrived in 2023 and featured the singles “The Goodness” (featuring TobyMac) and “Believe.” Both My Tribe and “Believe” received Grammy Award nominations. Offor also released the EP Covers in 2024. In 2025, he issued his sophomore album, Real, along with the singles “Lift Me Up” and the holiday project To All A Good Night.

Offor has been named Amazon Music’s 2023 Breakthrough Artist and Pandora’s 2023 Artist to Watch. He is a two-time GMA Dove Award winner. He describes himself as an artist who has a faith rather than using the label “Christian artist,” and his songwriting draws on his personal experiences of struggle and hope.
