About Ben Cantelon

Ben Cantelon was born on August 5, 1983, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and raised in Langley, British Columbia, in a family of pastors. He became a worship leader and recording artist within contemporary Christian music, serving as Worship Director at Soul Survivor in the UK and later at Holy Trinity Brompton in London. He also worked with the organization Worship Central.

Cantelon released his first project, the EP Daylight Breaks Through, in 2007. His full-length albums Running After You (2009) and Everything in Colour (2012) followed, along with the EP The Ascent, Vol 1 (2016). Songs from his catalog include “Love Came Down,” “Saviour of the World,” and “Guardian.” In 2013, “Saviour of the World” earned a nomination for Modern Worship Song at the GMA Canada Covenant Awards.

In 2017, Cantelon moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he served as a worship leader at The Belonging Co. He also moved into music industry executive roles, holding positions as Senior Director of A&R at Provident Entertainment and Head of A&R at Wings Music Group. His career has combined worship leadership, songwriting for the global church, and professional A&R work within the Christian music industry.
