Armor Music Ministry

Armor Music Ministry is a Zimbabwean a cappella gospel ensemble whose members identify as Adventist musicians. The group was established around 2007 in the town of Chitungwiza, with founding members Elias Mlauzi and Frank Murehwa. Kudakwashe Munda serves as the group’s director. From its beginning, the ministry has focused on spreading the word of God through vocal music, centering its repertoire on gospel songs and hymns.

The ensemble has performed at various church events, including Seventh-day Adventist church services, where their unaccompanied harmonies have become a familiar part of worship. In 2017, Armor Music Ministry released an album titled Put on the Whole Armour of God, a collection that reflects their commitment to scriptural themes and congregational singing.

Among the songs in their catalog are “Sweetest Song I Know,” “Tererai,” “Kana Aizviita Kare,” “The Reason,” “Just A Closer Walk With Thee,” “Sabata,” and “The Lord is My Shepherd.” These selections include both original compositions and well-known hymns, showing the group’s dedication to blending Adventist musical traditions with accessible gospel expression. Through their a cappella sound and ministry focus, Armor Music Ministry continues to serve the church community in Zimbabwe.
