About Annie Moses Band
The Annie Moses Band is a Nashville-based Christian family ensemble composed of six siblings and their parents, Bill and Robin Wolaver. The group takes its name from the siblings’ great-grandmother, Annie Moses. Classically trained, several members attended the Juilliard School, and the band’s musical style blends classical crossover with jazz, folk, and Celtic influences.
The group has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry. They also produce content for children, notably the television show The Wonderful World of Benjamin Cello. Beyond performing, the family leads the Annie Moses Foundation, which operates a conservatory and summer music festival for young artists. Bill and Robin Wolaver are songwriters who composed the song “Make His Praise Glorious.”
The Annie Moses Band has released several albums, including This Glorious Christmas, Christmas with the Annie Moses Band, Pilgrims & Prodigals, American Rhapsody, and Tales From My Grandpa’s Pulpit. Their choral catalog includes titles such as “God So Loved the World,” “A Friend Loves at All Times,” and “God Is Our Refuge.”
This Glorious Christmas reached the Top Ten on Billboard Magazine’s Classical Crossover chart. Pilgrims & Prodigals peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart. The 2021 release Tales From My Grandpa’s Pulpit topped Billboard charts. Through their recordings, performances, and foundation work, the Wolaver family continues to combine artistic discipline with their faith-based calling.
