About All Things New

All Things New was a Christian contemporary band based in Deltona and Orlando, Florida, active from approximately 2008 to 2016. The group’s name drew inspiration from the Bible passage 2 Corinthians 5:17. Original members included Garrett Hornbuckle on vocals, Jeff Stein on guitar and vocals, Joshua Schou on bass, and Luke Wycuff on drums. Their musical style blended contemporary Christian, Americana, folk, and Southern pop.

The band signed with the label BEC Recordings and released a series of recordings: the EPs Seek the Love (2009), Overcome (2011), and Attic Sessions (2014), along with two full-length albums, All Things New (2013) and The Good News (2015). The 2013 album All Things New peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and at number 5 on the Top Heatseekers chart. That same year, the single “New Man” reached number 25 on both the Billboard Christian Airplay and Hot Christian Songs charts.

In 2016, the band underwent a significant transition when three members departed, leaving Garrett Hornbuckle to continue the project as a solo ministry. He later released the single “Grace That Changes Everything” in 2019.
