Kwa maana, angalieni, siku zile, na wakati ule, nitakapowarudisha mateka wa Yuda na Yerusalemu,
“Yes, in those days and at that time, when I restore Judah and Jerusalem from captivity,

nitakusanya mataifa yote, nami nitawaleta chini katika bonde la Yehoshafau, na huko nitawahukumu kwa ajili ya watu wangu, na kwa ajili ya urithi wangu, Israeli, ambao wamewatawanya kati ya mataifa, na kuigawanya nchi yangu.
I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning My people, My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations as they divided up My land.

Nao wamewapigia kura watu wangu; na mtoto mwanamume wamemtoa ili kupata kahaba, na mtoto mwanamke wamemwuza ili kupata divai, wapate kunywa.
They cast lots for My people; they bartered a boy for a prostitute and sold a girl for wine to drink.

Naam, na ninyi ni kitu gani kwangu, enyi Tiro, na Sidoni, na nchi zote za Filisti? Je! Mtanirudishia malipo? Au mtanitenda neno lo lote? Upesi na kwa haraka nitawarudishia malipo yenu juu ya vichwa vyenu wenyewe.
Now what do you have against Me, O Tyre, Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Are you rendering against Me a recompense? If you retaliate against Me, I will swiftly and speedily return your recompense upon your heads.

Kwa kuwa mmetwaa fedha yangu na dhahabu yangu, nanyi mmevichukua vitu vyangu vyema vipendezavyo, na kuviingiza katika hekalu zenu;
For you took My silver and gold and carried off My finest treasures to your temples.

tena watoto wa Yuda na watoto wa Yerusalemu mmewauzia Wayunani, mpate kuwahamisha mbali na mipaka yao;
You sold the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks, to send them far from their homeland.

tazameni, nitawaamsha wapatoke mahali mlipowauza, nami nitawarudishia malipo yenu juu ya vichwa vyenu wenyewe.
Behold, I will rouse them from the places to which you sold them; I will return your recompense upon your heads.

Na mimi nitawauza wana wenu na binti zenu, na kuwatia katika mikono ya wana wa Yuda, nao watawauzia watu wa Sheba, taifa lililo mbali kabisa; kwa maana Bwana ndiye aliyesema neno hili.
I will sell your sons and daughters into the hands of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans—to a distant nation.” Indeed, the LORD has spoken.

Tangazeni haya kati ya mataifa; takaseni vita; waamsheni mashujaa; watu wa vita na wakaribie; na wapande juu.
Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war; rouse the mighty men; let all the men of war advance and attack!

Yafueni majembe yenu yawe panga, na miundu yenu iwe mikuki; aliye dhaifu na aseme, Mimi ni hodari.
Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong!’

Fanyeni haraka, mje, enyi mataifa yote, wa pande zote, jikusanyeni pamoja; na huko watelemshe mashujaa wako wote, Ee Bwana.
Come quickly, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves. Bring down Your mighty ones, O LORD.
12
Mataifa na wajihimize, wakapande juu katika bonde la Yehoshafau; maana huko ndiko nitakakoketi niwahukumu mataifa yote yaliyo pande zote.
Let the nations be roused and advance to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit down to judge all the nations on every side.

Haya! Utieni mundu, maana mavuno yameiva; njoni, kanyageni; kwa maana shinikizo limejaa, mapipa nayo yanafurika; kwani uovu wao ni mwingi sana.
Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full; the wine vats overflow because their wickedness is great.

Makutano makubwa, makutano makubwa, wamo katika bonde la kukata maneno! Kwa maana siku ya Bwana i karibu, katika bonde la kukata maneno.
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the Day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

Jua na mwezi vimetiwa giza, na nyota zimeacha kuangaza.
The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will no longer shine.
16
Naye Bwana atanguruma toka Sayuni, atatoa sauti yake toka Yerusalemu; na mbingu na nchi zitatetemeka; lakini Bwana atakuwa kimbilio la watu wake, na ngome ya wana wa Israeli.
The LORD will roar from Zion and raise His voice from Jerusalem; heaven and earth will tremble. But the LORD will be a refuge for His people, a stronghold for the people of Israel.

Hivyo ndivyo mtakavyojua ya kuwa mimi ndimi Bwana, Mungu wenu, nikaaye Sayuni, mlima wangu mtakatifu; ndipo Yerusalemu utakapokuwa mtakatifu, wala wageni hawatapita tena ndani yake kamwe.
Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy, never again to be overrun by foreigners.

Tena itakuwa siku ile, ya kwamba milima itadondoza divai tamu, na vilima vitatiririka maziwa, na vijito vyote vya Yuda vitatoa maji tele; na chemchemi itatokea katika nyumba ya Bwana, na kulinywesha bonde la Shitimu.
And in that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk. All the streams of Judah will run with water, and a spring will flow from the house of the LORD to water the Valley of Acacias.

Misri itakuwa ukiwa, na Edomu itakuwa jangwa tupu, kwa sababu ya dhuluma waliowatenda wana wa Yuda; kwa sababu wamemwaga damu isiyo na hatia katika nchi yao.
Egypt will become desolate, and Edom a desert wasteland, because of the violence done to the people of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood.

Bali Yuda atadumu milele, na Yerusalemu tangu kizazi hata kizazi.
But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21
Nami nitaitakasa damu yao ambayo sijaitakasa; kwa maana Bwana ndiye akaaye Sayuni.
For I will avenge their blood, which I have not yet avenged.” For the LORD dwells in Zion.
