Na hao watu waliokuwako maragoni wakasikia habari ya kwamba Zimri amefanya fitina, tena amempiga mfalme; kwa hiyo Israeli wote wakamfanya Omri, jemadari wa jeshi, awe mfalme juu ya Israeli siku ile maragoni.
