About Lenny LeBlanc
Lenny LeBlanc is a Christian songwriter and worship leader whose career has bridged the worlds of pop music and contemporary worship. He was born on June 17, 1951, in Leominster, Massachusetts, moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1955, and later relocated to Florence, Alabama, in 1973.
He began his career as a session musician and singer, working with artists such as Roy Orbison, The Supremes, and Hank Williams Jr. In the late 1970s, he was part of the duo LeBlanc & Carr, which achieved a hit with the song “Falling.” The track was later named a BMI Millionaire song, recognizing one million or more radio plays, and was also named one of Billboard’s all-time favorite Top 40 hits.
LeBlanc became a born-again Christian in 1980 and shifted his focus to recording Christian-themed music. Since then, he has contributed to numerous worship recordings for labels such as Maranatha! and Integrity Music, and he serves as a worship leader at Faith Church in Florence, Alabama. Since 1987, he has operated his own recording studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
His catalog includes albums such as Say a Prayer, Person to Person, Pure Heart, One Desire, and Love Like No Other. He also co-wrote the widely recorded worship song “Above All” with Paul Baloche, which earned a Dove Award for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year in 2003. Another well-known song in his repertoire is “There Is None Like You.”
