Chifu Tamurai

Chifu Tamurai is a Kenyan recording artist based in Nairobi who performs gospel and reggae music. His stage name, “Chifu,” was given to him by a music teacher, replacing his birth name, “Kiprotich.” He releases his music through his own label, Tamurai Creations, and his songs often incorporate themes of hope, encouragement, and spiritual conviction.

Tamurai has released the album Journey to Courage and the EP Tears of Mi Heart. His recorded songs include “Thank You Lord,” “Kenya Dat We Want,” “Keep On,” and “Strong.” He has also collaborated with other artists, featuring Delex on “Success” and Gospel Engineer on “Rooted.” Through his work, Chifu Tamurai continues to share messages rooted in his faith and his passion for reggae-influenced gospel music.
