Billy Funk

Billy Funk is a worship leader and songwriter whose work has been part of the contemporary Christian praise and worship landscape. He served as an exclusive songwriter for Integrity Music for over twelve years, and his music has been released through that company’s Hosanna! Music label. His recordings are categorized within the gospel and contemporary Christian praise and worship genres.

Funk recorded live worship albums, including See His Glory (1990) and God Is Able (1994). A later live release, Renewing The Heart Live, appeared in 1998. These albums captured the congregational worship settings that characterized his ministry. He also made guest appearances at churches in ministry contexts.

His songwriting credits include “Lift Him Up” and “Be Glorified.” Other songs in his catalog include “You Alone Are Holy,” “Sing, Shout, Clap,” and “Flow Like A River.” Through his songwriting and live recordings, Funk contributed to the broader body of praise music that was being distributed through Integrity Music during that era.
