Pulpit CommentaryVerse 9. - Do unto them as unto the Midianites. The allusion is probably to the discomfiture of the Midianites by Gideon (Judges 7:19-25; Judges 8:1-12). As to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison (see Judges 4:5).
