Ellicott's Commentary for English ReadersCHETH.(57) Thou art my portion, O Lord.--This rendering is in accordance with Psalm 16:5; Psalm 73:26. But, even with these passages in view, a better rendering would be--"This is my portion, O Lord, I said (it),To keep Thy words."
