Pulpit CommentaryVerse 6. - I will water with thy blood. Was the plague of the water of the Nile turned to blood (Exodus 7:19, 20) present to Ezekiel's mind? Such an inundation of the Nile, in all its horrors, was a fit symbol of the deluge of invaders by whom Egypt was laid waste.
