Pulpit CommentaryVerse 14. - It was perfect, etc. (compare the phrase, "perfection of beauty," in Psalm 1:2; Lamentations 2:15, as applied to Jerusalem). The prophet, in the words, my comeliness - majesty (Revised Version) - lays stress on the fact that that "perfection" was itself the gift of God.
