Pulpit CommentaryVerses 22, 23. - And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor. Pantie. (Gesenius); from nachar, to breathe hard, to snort. Piercer, slayer (Furst); from an unused root signifying to Bore through. And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years (or 230 in all), and begat sons and daughters.
