Pulpit CommentaryVerse 20. - In his own house. The parallel has, "In the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza;" i.e., with little doubt, what had been formerly the garden of one Uzza.

Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers(20) In his own house.--2Kings 21:18, "and he was buried in the garden of his house, in the garden of Uzza." The words, in the garden of, seem to have fallen out of our text. So LXX., ?? ????????? ????? ?????; Syriac, "in his house, in the garden of treasure."
